Susan Jean Sturman

Ms. Sturman earned her bachelor of music degree from Baldwin-Wallace College Conservatory of Music and her master of music degree from Northwestern University. Her performance experience includes work with the Aurora Piano Trio, The Corpus Christi Symphony, the Ohio Chamber Orchestra, the Cleveland Ballet Orchestra, and the Chanticleer String Quartet, as well as numerous solo recitals. She currently serves as principal cellist with the Corpus Christi Symphony Orchestra. Ms. Sturman was the 1989 First Prize Winner in the Ohio Federation of Music Clubs State Solo Competition. She has taught at the Baldwin-Wallace College Conservatory, the Somerset Music Festival in Pennsylvania, and the III Campamento Musical Juvenil in Honduras. At Del Mar she teaches cello, double bass, and early childhood music.
