The building underwent extensive renovations in 1999, and includes the Warren Theatre, a 280 seat auditorium with continental-style seating. It is an excellent venue for chamber ensemble performances, student recitals, workshops, and guest artist appearances. The hall was renovated in Spring 2005 and features a 32-channel mixer, Pro Tools recording setup, and a multi channel sound system. The building also has two large Rehearsal Halls equipped with audio cabinets that include a Tascam CD burner, a Crown amplifier and an AKG stereo microphone. The audio cabinets are designed to facilitate uncomplicated operation and are open for student use. Also housed in the Center for the Arts is an Electric Keyboard Lab equipped with a 20 station Roland network, and a Music Technology Lab with 8 Win-tel and 3 Macintosh computers that are equipped with sequencing, notation, and drill writing software. The lab serves as a center for theory, aural training, composition, and orchestration students.
